Slow Flow at Seward Park & Monthly Qi Gong


 This class will be a 70 ish minute slow flow vinyasa class offered to create space for intentional and conscious movement and feeling. We will be amongst the elements so dress in layers, bring a mat or blanket or feel free to practice in the grass. Every third week of the month we will dedicate 30 ish minutes of class to the practice of qi gong and then end with about 20-30 minutes of slow flow vinyasa/stretching to wind down. Every class will end with a 5 ish minute mindfulness meditation. 
Tidbit on qi gong: The practice of qi gong is an internal awareness practice that focuses on body alignment, breath and opening the pathways for movement to flow throughout the body. 
No experience needed, beginners welcomed and encouraged!

Finding the class: We will practice on the patch of grass in between two trees right across the walking path from shelter #2 (bottom middle of the map below). You can get to this location by starting out the walking loop counter clockwise for about 0.2 miles and then the location will be on your right. If it is raining, we will make some space underneath shelter #2 to practice.
