Hey Community!

Rolling with the reality of COVID-19 right now and as a lot of you already know, our class schedule is being greatly compromised in order to keep things on the cautious side and safe. Your health and well being is essential right now, and it is so important to take the best possible care of ourselves. With that, its so hard to be apart from each other. Our connection and spaces of community is a huge part of our holistic wellness, and it is important to be open to making this happen in any way we can.

We will be live-streaming a large majority of our classes until further notice. Truth is that some of the spaces we rent from might temporarily close. We are doing everything we can to keep the spaces clean and accessible but we have to adhere to what is safest for the community at large.

I would love it if you would join me tomorrow in your homes for our first live stream of one of our classes. I will be logging into YouTube Live at 10:45 am and class will run as normal from 11-noon. This will be my first time doing anything like this, and my computer is hella old, so if its a pretty low-fi vid, just know I am working as fast as I can to troubleshoot at the tech stuff and just keep classes going. Best case scenario we get through this and it becomes safe to be together again- but maybe this is an opportunity to grow our mission of accessibility and get a Poseurs T.V following! I will also add that I would love it if you would support the class with your donation the same way you would IRL. Please consider that as a real reality that all of us teachers at Poseurs are facing. We truly rely on YOU and your participation and donations to sustain the programming. THANK YOU!!!

Here is the link to the livestream

I hope it works. If it doesn't, the video will automatically upload to my YouTube page and I will share the link. Folks can then practice when ever it is best for them. Pretty cool! Please be patient with my learning!

Also, come to class, but be in the know. Please wash your hands before and after class and take extra care to sanitize your mat and props. Stay home and rest if you are not feeling well. We are disinfecting all the surfaces constantly, but it truly is an uphill battle. Let all take it day by day and stay connected.

I am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow in class, and online!!!
