Check out the newest addition to our schedule! DOPE MOMENTS is a weekly yoga class where every month all proceeds will go to an organization that is advocating and working for HUMAN RIGHTS. Now is a time to come together as community, to put our money where our mouth is, to RESIST, and to educate one another on ways to be fearless and fight for love.
Please come and check this out!
The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project is a local nonprofit that provides legal services at little or no cost to immigrants, refugees, people seeking asylum, domestic violence victims who are foreign nationals, and people faced with detention and deportation. They also provide community education about legal issues and work to change laws and policies that are unjust and unfair in the Pacific Northwest. They have some pretty DOPE values and principles listed on their website, check it out (nwirp.org), and the one that may ring true for yogis in the Poseurs community this month is: Solidarity "For society to be just and whole, we must work together to undo systematic oppression in its many forms." Join us Thursdays in March at 8pm for Dope Moments Yoga, give what you can. All proceeds go to this dope organization helping our friends, families and neighbors right here in the PNW. Namaste.
